Animal Healing
Don't be surprised if you hear a healer say that their best patients are animals! Be they domesticated pets, farm managed or wild, animals instinctively know when Spiritual Healing is helping them and respond trustingly to the healer. The basic principles of healing animals are the same as healing people -the only difference is in the techniques used. Animals are very sensitive to environments, be they place or persons, and healers know they must attune themselves to gain trust before expressing the energy that can have a healing value. Animals that live in the open such as horses must be healed in their own places, whereas the domestic cat, dog, budgie etc in most cases can be taken away from their homes to see the healer. Pets will often lie down and appear to sleep when healing is given –most healers know this to be true of dogs, cats and budgies -even guinea pigs! They generally respond more quickly than people -hence being the healer's favourite patient!
Would you like healing for your pet –your animal friend?
First let us say that spiritual healing, energy healing, psychic healing, reiki –whatever you want to call it, is entirely complementary. Our healers are nationally qualified and would expect that your pet is registered with a vet and as required receiving treatment from them. You will not be asked to stop or change treatments provided by your veterinary practise. Having decided to ‘try it out’ either ring or email us for an appointment –sometimes we can provide this at a healing clinic, at other times a healer will call to arrange seeing the pet at your home.
How will healing take place –does my pet have to be prepared in any way?
Pets are not as adaptable to change of atmosphere as us humans are –they are very territorial so the healer must take their time to gain acceptance. As the healer will already have tuned in to facilitate the healing energy the pet will soon become aware of changes which as our experience have shown they respond to without concern. The animal or bird is not expected to be in a certain position and depending on the nature of the problem and the kind of pet you have will radiate the energy to them either with their hands close to their body or held at a distance. Generally speaking animals don’t have any special liking for music and will be quite happy to receive healing in silence –with perhaps you giving words of encouragement and the healer also. The session will last as long as need be –often animals will just get up or move away when they feel they’ve had enough, or else go to sleep!
What is the fee for healing?
If you are able to bring your pet to one of our healing clinics there is no fee, although we do appreciate a donation no matter how small to help defray expenses –healers in clinics give up their own time free of charge to the charity. If a healer can only see you at your home they can expect to have their expenses paid –some healers are working professionally and charge a fee. The healer will advise you if that is the case before you accept their services. If a healer is only receiving expenses and you would like to make a donation to the charity please make it clear when giving money what amount is for the charity.
