Getting Started

The process of healer training is quite simple -you attend the JCPF Healer Training Clinic on a timescale and regularity that suits your lifestyle and develops the skills of healing 'hands on' with patients, guided to full healership by a qualified registered healer. When the time is right for you and course programmes are in schedule complete a JCPF psychic & spiritual foundation course ( 9 or 10 weekly evening classes) and then you have a choice, either enrol on the Healer Development & Registration course (10 weeks), which for some is best as they do better with a structured ABC approach to learning, or you can study in your own time the theory and take the multi-choice test papers when you feel confident of achieving a pass mark. However you choose to progress, teachers are on hand to help in whatever way you need.

The rudiments of healing can be learnt in a few intensive weekend courses but the development of healing skills is a much longer process, in fact healing is a non-stop learning experience that healers never tire of. None of us ever learn it all but with guidance you will achieve full healer registration within one or two years and prove to yourself that not only does healing really work but you can be confident in your ability to provide it.

Healer training has developed considerably over the years, back in the sixties when the JCPF was started it was a peer qualified process; competence levels varying significantly from organisation to organisation. Today we have a nationally recognised development and qualification programme which the JCPF is part of. You only need to have interest for us to develop the healing ability -when you have it you won't look back, it helps your health as well as others whom you practise upon.

Oh yes -in case you are wondering! Are the skills learnt of a professional standard? Indeed they are and if it is your intention to work professionally we have links with the national regulatory bodies with whom membership is essential

Foundation courses

To know your psychic and spiritual self because the conscious world is not interesting enough, or because you believe in a world hereafter, is not enough -you need to be aware of consciousness present and know the difference when it changes further adds to your overall awareness. The Chakra Meditation and the Knockin on Heavens Door programmes wants to see you a progressively happier and healthy person -and they teach to that effect. Step by step in a carefully controlled and protected environment under the guidance of a teacher gifted with higher communication skills and BodyMind control you will achieve just that.

You will learn well proven and highly successful forms of power meditations that will enable you to shift consciousness without thinking or visualising and experience the reality of the inner worlds. The teacher will initiate the links that enable your inner nature to connect with the conscious self; access spiritual dimensions and return to full conscious awareness. In these evening courses you will advised on psychic & spiritual pathways, intuition and the psychic senses, spiritual communicators, mediumship, healing, unseen bodies and their powers and most of all the practise that makes perfect.

Your teachers are Tony & Pam Ashenden, healers and teachers of exceptional ability who have continually practised since their youth -They bring a national and international wealth of experience to the programme.

Healer Development & Registration Course

The quality of our healer training is second to none. The JCPF training syllabus has been approved by the British Alliance of Healing Associations. Tony Ashenden -the JCPF President, who is the author of the JCPF Healing Manual and has over 40 years of healing and teaching experience conducts an ongoing 'school of healing' on Thursday evenings monthly at the Buckland Community Centre, North End, Portsmouth, and additional training evenings on Friday's. You can join at any time. This is a training platform in which both trainee and full healers can expect to benefit. It will cover everything, not only process and standards but also most importantly practical healing, techniques and methods, to enhance skills for both public clinic and private practise and bring trainee healers into provisional full healer status more quickly than otherwise might be the case. Tony will also be encouraging healers who have a gift for teaching to take on elements of the training programme and is looking to promote healers who so wish it to principal positions.

This Healer Training Clinic will be more comprehensive in its coverage than previous training clinics that Tony has conducted. Healers at any level of training or qualification can join as there will be something for everyone in every session -and that includes working on patients. The interest in Animal Healing will be catered for. In the revised healer training programme there are three levels of qualification -Silver, Gold and Diamond. Silver gives you full healer status working on people -Gold includes animal healing and Diamond is conferred on Gold level qualifications to healers who have run a healing clinic and taken part in training.

Healers, be they full or trainees, can attend to a frequency of their choosing. Part of the training will involve working on ‘live’ patients from time to time –this will also provide opportunity for individual testimonials to be attained in Distant Healing, patient healing and animal healing. All testimonials can be achieved in your own locality -a three way evalutation process ensures on completion, the healer is both capable and confident of their ability. If you have completed an introductory course with the JCPF in the last couple of years you are eligible to join the Healer Development & Registration programme.

On each training clinic session of attendance the fee is £5. It’s worth remembering that the charity’s healer training programme is not only to qualify healers for Full healer registration with the British Alliance of Healing Associations (BAHA) but to provide training for healers generally, some of whom may wish to sign up with other organisations and healing disciplines. The training clinic is there for all members who want the very best of training that is on offer anywhere. A fully registered Healer with BAHA may also attain membership of the Complementary Natural Healthcare Council (CHNC) which is the recognised national body by the NHS.

In 2012 due to popular demand Tony is putting on a 10 week Healers Development & Registration course -first one starts on Monday 23rd January. This is scheduled so the Healer Training Clinic can also be attended. The course will teach all theoretical subjects you need to know and you'll be able to take assessments whilst the knowledge is still fresh in your mind. It'll also teach some practical healing work -remote healing and hands on human & animal healing.
